A disintegrating French house going back to the thirteenth century has been spared from being destroyed by a large number of outsiders who united together to buy it for reclamation.

The stunning 2,000-hectare La Mothe-Chandeniers, which was at one time an incredible gathering royal residence, is situated with its own canal at Les Trois-Moutiers, 200 miles south of Paris in the south-western Poitou-Charentes locale.
